"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
When the temperatures fall a bit, and the humidity drops a bit, throwing open windows is something that brings a peace and calm to my spirit. An open window lets in a bit of nature through her light and her movement and her gifts of beauty. This pace of nature that Emerson talks about is perhaps the very thing that makes us so calm when we experience light, air, and plant life. When left to herself, nature never, ever gets in a hurry. She just is.
